Kids love to eat maggi, pasta etc foods & it’s a very healthy food that can be made for after dinner or after school (chhoti bhukh). Generally, kids do not like tomato but with this recipe your kid will be eat with pleasure & it also helps in kids’ diet. In this recipe, we have used red bell pepper & tomatoes for red sauce. You can substitute with onions. Bell Pepper is one of the finest ingredients to add in diet & if you want to add in your regular diet then red sauce pasta is the best option.

Ingredients

  • Pasta: 1 ½ cups
  • Olive oil: 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves: 3 to 4
  • Chopped Onions: 1 tbsp
  • Red tomatoes: 1 ½ cups
  • Red Chili flakes: ½ to 1
  • Bell Peppers: 1 ¼ cup

Method

Step 1

Heat 1 table spoon olive oile and sauté bell peppers on high temperature. Just for 3 minutes. You can use onion too. Take it from pan & set them aside.

Step 2

In the same pan, add deseeded ripe tomatoes & sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Tomatoes should be turn soft & then add red chili flakes in it. Cool it.

Step 4

Once it cooled, add to a blender jar.

Step 5

Blend it until it become coarse paste. Set it aside.

Step 6

To make a sauce, boil two liters of water in a large pot and add salt as needed.

Step 7

Add pasta in boiled water. Follow the instruction shown in the pack.

Step 8

Take a colander and drain off the pasta to remove extra starch.

Step 9

Take a pan and heat the olive oil. When it hot, sauté garlic and red chili flakes.

Step 10

Add chopped onion in it & sauté until the raw smell goes away.

Step 11

Add puree and salt. Mix it well and cook on a medium flame until sauce become thicker.

Step 12

Add oregano, mix well and then switch off the stove.

Step 13

Add cooked pasta with one tbsp olive oil & then sauté until mix it well.

Add crushed pepper and serve it hot. Within just half an hour, you will satisfy your kids’ hunger with this delicious and yummy food. I prefer this recipe when your kids’ return home from school.
